Purdue center Zach Edey, the consensus National Player of the Year and a projected lottery pick, has declared for the 2024 NBA draft. The 7-foot-4 Canadian led the nation in scoring with 24.9 points per game and finished third in rebounding with 12.2. Despite his impressive accolades, Edey believes he still has more to showcase at the NBA level, particularly in terms of passing, shooting, and playing outside the paint. He entered the 2023 draft but opted to return to Purdue for his senior season, which proved to be a wise decision as he is now considered a top-20 prospect.
