Vodafone Idea’s Follow-on Public Offering (FPO) has been successfully listed on the National Stock Exchange, marking a significant milestone for the telecom company. The listing is expected to enhance liquidity and increase trading volumes for the company.
In a discussion with Anupam Kher on ‘Let’s Talk Bharat,’ Ashish Kumar Chauhan, head of the National Stock Exchange and chancellor of the University of Allahabad, expressed optimism about India’s growth trajectory over the next 40 years. He attributed this to India’s young population, in contrast to the aging populations of Europe and the United States. Chauhan emphasized that the nation now exerts control over its circumstances, focusing on inclusive growth that has benefited rural areas through technological advancements like mobile phones.
