A heart-wrenching incident occurred in Surajpura village, Gujarat, on Friday, where a one-and-a-half-year-old girl tragically lost her life after falling into a 50-foot-deep borewell. The toddler, who fell into the borewell at around 12:30 PM, was rescued after a grueling 17-hour-long operation conducted by the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and the local fire department. Despite efforts to provide oxygen during the rescue operation, the girl was pulled out unconscious and pronounced dead at the Amreli Civil Hospital at 5:10 AM on Saturday.
