Nandamuri Balakrishna, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) candidate for Hindupur Assembly Constituency, has criticized YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the incumbent Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, for his ‘tyrannical’ rule. Balakrishna, addressing a public meeting in Kandukur on Friday, asserted that Jagan seeks a second chance after failing to win the people’s trust. He highlighted the failures of Jagan’s administration, including the suppression of Amaravati farmers, the crushing of the state’s capital dream, and the introduction of cheap liquor after promising prohibition. Balakrishna contrasted Jagan’s rule with that of his father, former Chief Minister NT Rama Rao, who, according to him, provided food, shelter, and livelihood opportunities to the poor and middle classes. He urged voters to support TDP candidates in Nellore for a brighter future.
