The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) UGC-NET exam 2024, initially postponed due to alleged irregularities in NEET UG 2024, has been rescheduled to be held from July 25 to 27. The exam, crucial for PhD admissions in various scientific disciplines, was previously postponed on June 21, citing unavoidable circumstances and logistical challenges. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the new dates and confirmed that the exam will be conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode.
Eligible candidates can apply for the NTA UGC NET June 2024 exam until today, May 10, at ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The exam is scheduled for June 18 and will last for 3 hours. Fees vary based on category: Rs 1150 for General, Rs 600 for General-EWS/OBC(NCL), Rs 325 for SC/ST/Third gender, and no fee for PwD candidates.
