This triumph marks Governor Livingston’s fourth consecutive win, and Diskin’s impressive performance has lowered his earned run average to 0.86.

Mason Bucci led the way for Newton, going 3-for-3 with a home run and five RBI in an 8-7 victory over Hackettstown. Braxton Guerra and Maxwell Maslowski also contributed with multiple hits for Newton, as they improved their record to 2-9 on the season.
