The Stags, who are expected to be a top contender in Class A South this season, improved to 2-0 with the win, while the Red Storm dropped to 2-1.

Grand Valley State baseball made history on Saturday as Sam Leck threw the eighth complete game no-hitter in program history. The Sturgis native struck out five and walked three in a 5-1 win over Wayne State.
