Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh to Visit Visakhapatnam for TDP-BJP-JSP Rally

Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh is scheduled to visit Visakhapatnam on Wednesday to participate in the nomination rally of Anakapalli Lok Sabha candidate C.M. Ramesh from the TDP-BJP-JSP alliance. Singh will arrive at Visakhapatnam Airport at around 12:45 p.m. and will be received by Visakhapatnam Lok Sabha candidate M Sribharat and BJP leader P. Vishnu Kumar Raju. The Union Minister will participate in an ‘Intellectual Meeting’ at ITC Grand Bay before proceeding to Anakapalli. In Anakapalli, Singh will participate in a roadshow from Sankara Metta to Four-Road Junction via Nehru Chowk and address a public meeting. He is expected to depart from Visakhapatnam at around 8 p.m.

BJP Candidate P. Vishnu Kumar Raju Files Nomination with Traditional Fanfare

P. Vishnu Kumar Raju, the Bharatiya Janata Party’s candidate for the Visakhapatnam North Assembly Constituency, filed his nomination papers in a unique and traditional manner. The rally saw enthusiastic participation from BJP, TDP, and JSP supporters adorned in dhotis and saffron turbans. Traditional folk arts like Kolatam and dhol were performed throughout the procession. Mr. Vishnu Kumar Raju expressed confidence in winning with a majority of over 50,000 votes, while alleging that the YSRCP candidate’s actions prevented auto-rickshaw drivers from participating in the rally.
