Four Injured in Edmonton Dog Attack Involving Two Loose Pitbulls

On Thursday afternoon at approximately 3:15 p.m., the Edmonton Police Service (EPS) responded to reports of two loose Pitbull dogs biting people near 157 Street and 89 Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered that two teenagers in their late teens and three adults who intervened in the attack had sustained non-life-threatening injuries. All the victims were transported to the hospital, and the dogs were apprehended by City of Edmonton bylaw officers. The identities of the dog owners are currently unknown, and no charges have been announced.

Woman Arrested for Attempted Homicide After Running Car into Five People in Philadelphia

A woman from Northeast Philadelphia named Omobolanle Paige has been arrested and charged with attempted homicide for allegedly running her car into five people outside a ShopRite grocery store. All but one of the five victims were women and they all sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Three of the women had to be hospitalized but the fourth woman and a 74-year-old male were treated at the scene. Paige was arrested at the scene and formally charged on Tuesday. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Friday.

Stabbing at Boston School Leaves One Injured

On Wednesday afternoon, one person sustained non-life-threatening injuries in a stabbing at a Dorchester school. Upon receiving a report of the incident at around 12:25 p.m., police were dispatched to the school on Peacevale Road. Boston EMS and police were present at the scene as Sky5 surveyed the area.

School Bus and Transport Truck Crash in Ontario Injures Students

Several students were injured in a collision between a school bus and a transport truck on Route 400 in Ontario on Monday afternoon. The bus driver and three students were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while the transport truck driver was uninjured. A preliminary investigation indicates that the bus attempted to enter the highway and collided with the eastbound transport truck. The highway was closed for some time to allow emergency crews to work.
