NASCAR All-Star Race Returns to Historic North Wilkesboro Speedway with New Features

The highly anticipated NASCAR All-Star Race is set to make its return to the iconic North Wilkesboro Speedway, bringing with it a host of exciting new features that will test the limits of drivers and their crew chiefs. This year’s race promises to be a thrilling spectacle, with its unique tire strategy element, new qualifying and pit crew challenge format, and mandatory pitting requirements. The race weekend will kick off on Friday with qualifying and the pit crew challenge, where drivers will race against the clock to set their starting positions for the heat races and the All-Star main event. The All-Star Race will be a 200-lap event, featuring two ‘All-Star’ cautions at laps 100 and 150, during which teams must perform four-tire pit stops using any tire of their choosing. The race will also feature overtime rules, ensuring an exciting finish. The All-Star 100-lap Open will take place on Saturday, with three drivers advancing to the main event based on race finishes and the fan vote.
