Caught on Camera: Animal in Rashtrapati Bhavan During Oath-Taking Ceremony Clarified as House Cat

Amidst the oath-taking ceremony for the newly elected parliamentarians of the National Democratic Alliance led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, videos emerged on social media showing an animal roaming in the corridors of the Rashtrapati Bhavan. While initial speculations suggested the animal to be a leopard, the Delhi Police swiftly clarified that it was in fact a common house cat.

The Delhi Police took to social media to dispel any misinformation, stating that the animal captured in the live telecast was not a wild animal, as some media outlets and social media handles had claimed, but a harmless house cat. They urged citizens to refrain from spreading such rumors.

Despite the clarification, the video clip of the animal had already gone viral on social media, with some speculating it was a security breach and even a leopard. The incident highlights the need for accurate information dissemination and the importance of relying on official sources for reliable news.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and 71 other leaders took their oaths to serve in the Modi 3.0 ministry, with the new cabinet comprising 30 Cabinet ministers, five Ministers of State with Independent Charge, and 36 Ministers of State.
