The 2024 NFL Draft commenced on Thursday, smashing records with the unprecedented selection of 23 offensive players in the opening round. This surge in offensive talent began with 14 consecutive offensive players taken off the board, notching the highest number ever recorded in the first 32 selections of a draft. Quarterbacks were also highly sought after, with four, five, and six being selected in the first eight, 10, and 12 picks, respectively.
