The release of Stellar Blade is just around the corner, and the game’s publisher has announced that it will be fixing a graffiti reference that has been deemed offensive. The graffiti, which reads “Hard” next to an “R Shop” logo, can be seen as a reference to a racial slur when placed together. Shift Up, the game’s developer, has confirmed that it had no intention of creating offensive artwork and will be replacing the graffiti for the Day 1 patch. This fix will apply to both digital and physical copies of the game. Stellar Blade is scheduled for release on April 26, 2024, exclusively for the PlayStation 5.
