Brazilian oil and gas giant Petrobras is set to significantly boost its offshore production efficiency with the implementation of a cutting-edge digital twin technology. This innovative solution, successfully tested on its Cidade de Anchieta and P-57 platforms, promises to enhance production by approximately 1%. The digital twin, dubbed Lift and Flow, replicates the entire oil production process, from the seabed to the surface, enabling real-time monitoring, optimization, and virtual incident prevention.
