Highway 7 Rollover Injures Woman

A woman was rushed to hospital after a single-vehicle rollover on Highway 7 west of Peterborough, Ontario, on Tuesday morning. Emergency crews responded to the scene around 7:30 a.m. after receiving reports of a crash between Lansdowne Street West and Sherbrooke Street. They discovered a vehicle on its roof with a single occupant inside. Firefighters from Cavan Monaghan Township assisted in extracting the woman from the vehicle. She was assessed by paramedics at the scene and transported to Peterborough Regional Health Centre for further treatment. The cause of the collision is being investigated by Peterborough County OPP.
