EACON Mining has secured its first iron ore project, partnering with BAOWU’s Xichang Mining to automate operations at the Taihe Iron Mine. This marks a significant expansion for EACON, moving beyond coal, aggregate, and gold mining into the iron ore sector. The project will see 6 SANY electric mining trucks, each with a 70-ton payload capacity, equipped with EACON’s autonomous haulage system (AHS) ORCASTRA®. This initial phase sets the stage for a full site rollout, showcasing EACON’s commitment to sustainable and efficient mining solutions.
