Country star Orville Peck is embarking on a 40-plus-date Stampede Tour across North America this year, featuring collaborations with Willie Nelson, Elton John, Noah Cyrus, Midland, Allison Russell, Nathaniel Rateliff, and Bu Cuarón. GLAAD announced that Jennifer Hudson and country music singer Orville Peck will be honored with special awards at the 35th annual GLAAD Media Awards. Hudson will receive the Excellence in Media Award for promoting LGBTQ acceptance, while Peck will receive the Vito Russo Award for raising LGBTQ visibility in country music. Both awards will be presented at the New York ceremony on May 11th.
