Outdoor sports company Mammut, in collaboration with Danish tech start-up Klimate, ARC, Bofort, and Carbonaide, has unveiled a groundbreaking project to remove carbon dioxide (CO2) from the atmosphere and store it in concrete. The initiative, supported by world-renowned climber Adam Ondra, aims to combat climate change while showcasing the commitment of the sporting community to environmental sustainability.
Guizhou Province in China hosted the International Conference of Mountain Tourism and Outdoor Sports 2024, showcasing its commitment to becoming a world-class tourist destination. The conference saw the launch of certification criteria for world-famous tourism mountains, recognizing 14 mountains, including Guizhou’s Fanjing Mountain, as the first cohort. Xingyi city was also honored as a world-class health and wellness city.
