The win was hard-fought, with McDevitt managing only three hits throughout the game. Nick Slogik, who contributed one of those hits, played an outstanding role on the mound, pitching seven complete innings. Slogik’s impressive performance included striking out five batters while allowing only one earned run, earning him the win.
Cadyn Eismann and Ashlyn LaGray combined for 14 goals as the Lower Dauphin girls lacrosse team rolled to a 20-2 victory over Palmyra in their Mid-Penn Conference Keystone Division matchup. Eismann led the charge with seven goals and two assists, while LaGray also scored seven times. Katie Horwitz added three goals, and Anna Pheasant contributed two goals. Eismann’s performance was particularly impressive, as she also recorded six draw controls and four caused turnovers.
