Mumbai Police have apprehended two suspects, Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, in connection with a planned assassination attempt on Bollywood actor Salman Khan. The suspects had allegedly planned to attack Khan during Eid celebrations at his Panvel farmhouse. However, the plan was thwarted as the farmhouse celebration was canceled. The suspects conducted reconnaissance outside the farmhouse and rented a house nearby. They were also seen surveilling Khan’s residence in Mumbai. Police believe the suspects were part of the Bishnoi gang and received information from the gang members. The suspects disposed of the weapon in the Tapi River in Gujarat, but it has not yet been recovered.
