UK Faces Epidemic of Underage Drinking Among Adolescents

A comprehensive study conducted by the World Health Organization (WHO) has revealed that the United Kingdom has a significant problem with underage drinking, with rates among the highest in the world. The study analyzed data from over 280,000 children aged 11, 13, and 15 across 44 countries, and the findings showed that children in England were most likely to have consumed alcohol at an early age compared to their peers in other countries. Experts have expressed concern about this trend, emphasizing the link between early alcohol initiation and the risk of developing alcohol-related issues later in life.
