Paris 2024 Olympics: Hotel Rates Drop Significantly

With just three months to go before the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, hotel rates have continued to fall, according to data from Lighthouse, a hotel market analyst. Average nightly rates have dropped from over €800 last September to below €500 currently, with three-star properties seeing a 9% decline and four-star hotels a 8% decrease in the last 30 days. Despite the drop, five-star luxury establishments have held prices slightly better, falling by 6%. Overall, hotel rates in Paris during the Olympics are still 95 percent higher than at the same time in 2023.
