Several former Congress leaders have returned to the party after quitting following the resignation of former Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh. The leaders rejoined in the presence of Punjab Congress Chief Amarinder Singh Raja Warring and Leader of Opposition Partap Singh Bajwa. The returning leaders expressed optimism that their presence would strengthen the party. Additionally, former Punjab Police Additional Director General Gurinder Singh Dhillon also joined the Congress in Delhi, stating that he served as a police officer for two decades and now wishes to contribute to the party under Rahul Gandhi’s leadership.
