Indian athlete Parul Chaudhary finished eighth in the women’s 3000m steeplechase qualification at the Paris 2024 Olympics, failing to secure a spot in the final. Despite achieving her season best time, she missed out on the top five finish required for automatic qualification.
Indian athlete Parul Chaudhary has qualified for both the 3000m steeplechase and the 5000m race at the upcoming Paris Olympics. This makes her the only Indian track and field athlete to qualify for two events. Meanwhile, Jeswin Aldrin has a chance to secure his Olympic spot in the long jump due to an injury to M Sreeshankar.
