His offensive contributions also proved valuable, as he went 1-for-3 with an RBI.
Matawan High School’s baseball team maintained its undefeated status with a 7-1 victory against Manasquan High School. Ace pitcher Brandon Falco and reliever Andrew Gendi combined for an impressive performance on the mound, striking out 11 batters and limiting Manasquan to just one hit. The offense provided ample support, as Andrew Gendi drove in two runs with a 3-for-4 outing and Bryan McCartin contributed three RBIs.
