Michelin-starred Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten has opened a temporary second location of his popular plant-based eatery, abcV, in New York City. The new pop-up is located on the sidewalk of The Mark Hotel, a short walk from Central Park. It serves lunch and dinner and will remain open until the end of the summer season.
Alain Ducasse, the legendary French chef, has achieved remarkable success with his restaurants earning 21 Michelin stars. He remains active, collaborating with chefs like Daniel Humm on plant-based menus. Ducasse acknowledges the shift towards plant-based diets but believes in a gradual approach. He has plans to open a restaurant in Riyadh and a culinary school in Abu Dhabi. While Hong Kong will not see a return of his presence, Ducasse retains his two-Michelin-star status for Alain Ducasse at Morpheus in Macau and is eyeing a coveted third star in the future.
