The Indian government’s PM Internship Scheme, aimed at providing one-year experience in top companies, has made Aadhaar mandatory for availing benefits. The scheme offers a one-time assistance of ₹6,000 and a monthly allowance of ₹5,000. The scheme also provides insurance coverage under Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana. Over 50,000 internship opportunities are available across 650 districts and 22 sectors.
