The third phase of Lok Sabha elections in West Bengal was marked by sporadic violence, with clashes between TMC, BJP, and Congress workers in Murshidabad and Jangipur constituencies. Complaints of poll violence, voter intimidation, and assaults on poll agents were lodged by all three parties. By 11 a.m., around 32.82% polling was reported, with Jangipur recording the highest turnout. The Election Commission received 182 complaints within the first few hours, mostly from Murshidabad and Jangipur. All four seats have a significant minority population, with TMC holding Murshidabad and Jangipur, BJP holding Maldaha North, and Congress holding Maldaha South.
