Portland Sea Dogs Fall Short in Comeback Attempt, Losing 9-6 to Hartford Yard Goats

The Portland Sea Dogs saw their five-game winning streak come to an end on Tuesday night, falling 9-6 to the Hartford Yard Goats. Despite scoring four runs in the ninth inning, the Sea Dogs were unable to complete the comeback. Portland took an early 2-0 lead but Hartford responded with 11 unanswered runs. Ryan Ritter led the way for the Yard Goats, going 2-for-3 with a triple and five RBI, while Nic Kent added a solo home run.
