Eric Pincus of Bleacher Report has proposed a three-team trade involving the Philadelphia 76ers, Portland Trail Blazers, and Golden State Warriors. Under this proposal, the Sixers would acquire Andrew Wiggins and $1.1 million from the Warriors, while the Blazers would receive Kevon Looney, the 16th overall pick, and two trade exceptions from Golden State. The Warriors would obtain Malcolm Brogdon and Robert Williams III from Portland in return. According to Pincus, this deal would be finalized on July 6 and would allow the Warriors to avoid triggering a hard cap.

The Portland Trail Blazers have been granted a 13.2% chance of securing the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft following the lottery drawings held at the NBA office. The lottery determined the draft order for the 14 teams that failed to qualify for the playoffs this season. The Blazers tied with the Charlotte Hornets for the third-worst record in the league, resulting in both teams receiving a slightly lower chance (13.2% for Portland, 13.3% for Charlotte) to win the top pick. The Detroit Pistons and Washington Wizards, who finished with the two worst records, each have a 14% chance. The NBA Draft is scheduled to take place on June 27th.
