The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has detected significant variations between theory and practical marks in certain subjects among 50% or more students using advanced artificial intelligence (AI) tools. Around 500 schools affiliated with CBSE have been flagged for this variation, highlighting the need for meticulous assessment during practical examinations. The board has issued an advisory to these schools to review their internal assessment procedures. This move is aimed at strengthening the evaluation system, ensuring fairness, and enhancing the quality of education in CBSE-affiliated institutions.
