Kerala on High Alert: Nipah Virus Case Confirmed, Precautionary Measures Implemented

Kerala has declared a health emergency after a 14-year-old boy tested positive for the Nipah virus in Malappuram district. The state government is taking swift action, including contact tracing, isolation of high-risk individuals, and setting up isolation wards. The Health Minister has also announced the arrival of monoclonal antibodies from Australia and a mobile lab from Pune NIV. The state is on high alert, with residents advised to stay vigilant and take necessary precautions.
