The law, which applies to employers with at least 15 workers, guarantees reasonable accommodations for conditions related to pregnancy, such as morning sickness, back pain, and the need to avoid heavy lifting. Workers are also entitled to unpaid time off for medical appointments, fertility treatments, and other related circumstances.
