The Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) has emerged victorious in the 2024 Sikkim Assembly elections, further consolidating its hold on the state. The party increased its tally from 17 seats in the 2019 elections to 31, while the Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF), which had ruled the state for 25 consecutive years until 2019, suffered a significant decline, winning only one seat.
