Rapper NBA YoungBoy Arraigned in Utah Prescription Fraud Case

Rapper NBA YoungBoy, whose real name is Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, has been arraigned on charges of leading a large-scale prescription fraud ring in Cache County, Utah. Gaulden is facing 46 charges, including patterns of unlawful activity, unlawful conduct-pharmacy practices, identity fraud, and forgery. The Cache County Sheriff’s Office alleges that Gaulden and several associates called in prescriptions for Promethazine with Codeine, a heavily abused cough suppressant, at pharmacies throughout the county. Gaulden’s pretrial release hearing is set for Monday, April 29.
