MetOx International, a leading U.S. manufacturer of high-temperature superconducting (HTS) wire, has secured $80 million in funding from the U.S. Department of Energy to build a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in the southeastern United States. This project, dubbed ‘Project Arch,’ will be the first large-scale HTS wire production facility in the country and will create over 200 high-tech jobs. It signifies a significant leap forward in the development of clean energy infrastructure, with applications in renewable energy, electric vehicle charging, and hyperscale data centers.
