Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, has alleged that the Congress party intends to implement Sharia law and redistribute people’s property if it wins the upcoming election. Speaking at an election rally in Amroha, Adityanath claimed that the Congress’ manifesto expresses such intentions. He also asserted that terrorism has been eradicated in India under the Modi government and that a vote for the BJP and its allies will ensure its continued elimination.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reiterated his claims that the Congress party intends to redistribute property, alleging that they plan to seize assets for their own gain. However, unlike previous statements, Modi refrained from explicitly stating that the wealth would be distributed among Muslims. He accused the Congress and the opposition-led INDIA bloc of practicing appeasement and failing to address the social and economic progress of Muslims.
