Qantas Adds Daily Flights from Bengaluru to Sydney for Peak Season

In response to strong demand, Qantas will increase its flight frequency from Bengaluru to Sydney from five times per week to daily during the peak holiday season from mid-December 2024 to late March 2025. This expansion will add over 12,000 seats between the two cities. Qantas’ existing flights from Delhi to Melbourne operate three days per week. All Qantas international fares include baggage allowance, food and beverages, and inflight entertainment. The airline is also introducing fast and free Wi-Fi on its international fleet, including the A330 aircraft used on the Bengaluru-Sydney route, with enough bandwidth for every passenger to enjoy a fast and consistent connection.

Qantas App Glitch Exposes Passengers’ Personal Data

A major glitch in the Qantas app exposed the personal details of thousands of customers on Wednesday, causing widespread concern and prompting the airline to recommend logging out and back into their accounts. The issue, which has since been resolved, allowed frequent flyers to view other passengers’ names, flight plans, points, and boarding passes on the app.

Qantas Announces Discounted Fares to Australia from India

Qantas, Australia’s national carrier, is offering discounted fares to Australia from India for a limited time. The promotion runs from April 29 to May 4, 2024, and features travel dates between June 11 and September 12, 2024. Round-trip fares start from Rs. 57,730* for Delhi to Melbourne in Economy class. Passengers can also take advantage of discounted fares to Sydney (via Melbourne) starting from Rs. 60,910* in Economy class.
