India has announced a new initiative to award 50 Quad Scholarships worth ₹ 4 crore to students from the Indo-Pacific region. The scholarships will enable students to pursue a 4-year undergraduate engineering program at a Government of India-funded technical institution. This announcement was made during the Quad Leaders’ Summit, where Prime Minister Modi also emphasized the importance of a rules-based international order and made other key announcements related to health and vaccine initiatives.
