A Manhattan pickup truck driver has been charged with attempted murder in a Tuesday night road rage-fueled stabbing. The incident began when the driver of a Mercedes sedan intentionally struck a pickup truck on the Queensboro Bridge. The pickup truck driver then fled, but the Mercedes driver gave chase and rear-ended the pickup truck on the Upper East Side. The pickup truck driver then exited his vehicle and stabbed the Mercedes driver multiple times. The Mercedes driver was taken to Weill Cornell Medical Center and is listed in stable condition. The pickup truck driver was charged with attempted murder, assault, and criminal possession of a weapon. The Mercedes driver was charged with attempted assault. Both drivers have a history of arrests and convictions.
