Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) has become the first in India to introduce a Quick Drop Solution for self-service baggage drop, aiming to reduce the check-in process from one minute to just 30 seconds. The new mechanism allows passengers to collect and attach luggage tags at kiosks, then drop their bags onto a conveyor belt. The system automatically opens the airline’s application with a single click, streamlining the process and eliminating the need for boarding pass or biometric validation.
