Recalling her family’s long history and deep connection to the region, she emphasized the importance of protecting the rights of the people and fighting against injustice. During the rally, Rahul Gandhi promised that a government would be formed on June 4th, and that 8,500 rupees would be credited into the bank accounts of millions of families on July 4th, with more payments to follow in the subsequent months. He also expressed confidence that the Congress will emerge victorious, with Narendra Modi accepting defeat and not retaining his position as Prime Minister.
