Tweetsie Railroad is hosting its annual Railroad Heritage Weekend on August 24 and 25, celebrating the golden age of steam with a special focus on its historic Locomotive No. 12. The weekend features a unique opportunity to experience the thrill of riding behind both of the park’s narrow-gauge steam locomotives, including a rare double-header on Sunday morning. Visitors can also explore the Locomotive Shop and Memorabilia Room for a behind-the-scenes look at the preservation and operation of these historic engines.
