Popular Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and her husband, businessman Raj Kundra, have been accused of defrauding an investor in a gold scheme called Satyug Gold Private Limited by offering a bogus scheme. The Mumbai Police has been asked to investigate the allegations after a complaint by Prithviraj Kothari, who invested ₹90,38,600 in exchange for 5,000 grams of 24-carat gold in April 2019. However, he never received the promised delivery.
