Tripura BJP Minister Announces Reward for Highest Voter Turnout Booth

Four days prior to the East Tripura Lok Sabha constituency polling, Tripura’s parliamentary affairs minister, Ratan Lal Nath, announced a ₹2 lakh reward for the booth with the highest voter turnout percentage in the Khowai Assembly constituency on April 26th. The minister also expressed confidence that the opposition INDIA bloc alliance will be defeated in the Lok Sabha polls.

BJP Workers in Tripura Offered Rs 2 Lakh for Highest Voting Percentage

Tripura Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ratan Lal Nath has announced a reward of Rs 2 lakh for BJP workers in the Khowai Assembly segment if their booth records the highest percentage of voting. The Khowai Assembly segment falls under the East Tripura Lok Sabha constituency, which will go to the polls on April 26. Nath said he would personally reward the booth committee that secures the highest voter turnout. He also claimed that the Opposition INDIA Bloc candidate may lose his security deposit in the East Tripura constituency and accused the Opposition of failing to deploy polling agents in the West Tripura constituency on April 19.
