In July 2017, a homebuyer named Paramita Banerjee booked a flat in Supertech Sports Village in Greater Noida, promised completion by the end of 2019. However, construction didn’t start until 2020. Despite being assured of RERA approval and safety of funds, Banerjee faced significant delays and financial losses. The builder, declared bankrupt in 2020, has yet to provide promised rental accommodation or resolve the issue despite court interventions. Banerjee, who lost her husband to COVID-19 in 2021, is left with no resolution and continues to face mental distress.
