Lisa Vanderpump has responded to Jax Taylor’s recent claims that ‘Vanderpump Rules’ is scripted. Taylor made the comments during a viewing party for the show and its spinoff, ‘The Valley,’ at his own bar in Studio City, California. He repeatedly criticized the show, calling it “scripted” and “fake.”

Vanderpump, who executive produces both shows, clapped back at Taylor’s claims, saying, “Nobody can write a script like Vanderpump Rules.” She also accused Taylor of possibly scripting his own comments.

Taylor later walked back his comments on his podcast with estranged wife Brittany Cartwright, saying he regretted “going on a rant” about the show being scripted. He praised the show for being “the most authentic” reality series out there.

Vanderpump also addressed rumors that the ‘VPR’ cast is more divided than ever after the reunion, saying, “They can always come back from it.” However, she acknowledged that the series is at a pivot point going into a potential 12th year.
