The event also set a world record for the largest annual one-day fundraising event, raising over £67 million for charity. Kenyan runners Peres Jepchirchir and Alexander Mutiso Munyao took home the women’s and men’s titles, respectively, with Jepchirchir setting a new women’s-only world record.
