Solomon Galligan, a 33-year-old registered sex offender, was arrested on Friday for attempting to kidnap a student at Black Forest Hills Elementary School. According to an arrest affidavit, Galligan entered the school grounds holding a white blanket and tried to grab a child. The child escaped and alerted school staff, who apprehended Galligan with the help of a parent. Galligan initially feigned an assault but was later taken into custody.
