A 20-year-old woman, Anjali Ambigera, was brutally stabbed to death in her home in Hubbali, Karnataka, on Wednesday morning. The accused, 21-year-old Girish Sawant, had been reportedly pursuing Anjali for a relationship, but she had rejected his advances. The attack is believed to have occurred after Anjali refused to accompany Sawant on a trip to Mysore. The police have launched a manhunt for Sawant, who is currently on the run.
